Today P5/6 made rain gauges out of 2 litre bottles. We have placed the bottles in the playground and will measure the volume of rainfall every 24 hours.

Why are we not allowed to pick them up?
Kathryn (P1)
Why is your topic weather and why are you going to see how much rain has fallen?
April
Our topic is on extreme weather and we will be looking at all types of weather. We have made rain gauges to measure how much rain we get in Greenock. I think we get a lot of rain April.
Boys and girls are not allowed to pick them up because if they fall over P5/6 won't be able to measure how much rain there is. A very good question Kathryn.
