Today in story writing we concentrated on introductions. Our Learning Intention was to set the scene and introduce the main characters. We also wanted to use descriptive language. We used a photograph of a man under the bonnet of his truck. Here is Olivia's introduction.
It was early Monday morning when Jason woke up in a good mood. He turned on the radio and went into the shower. When he came out of the shower he dried himself, got dressed, had his breakfast, brushed his teeth and made his bed. It was now eight o'clock and time for Jason to go to his work. When he went to his car he discovered that his tyre was flat and his car wouldn't start.
