Primary 5/6 are making a fantastic start to their new geography topic. The pupils were looking at the difference between 'weather' and 'climate'. They found out that 'Weather is the day to day changes in the atmosphere and were introduced to terms such as 'precipitation, temperature, humidity, cloud cover, sunshine, air pressure, wind direction and wind speed'. They also started 'jazzing' the classroom up with soon fantastic displays.
The first group is making a giant planet earth out of tissue paper, the second group is making a huge map of the World and the third group is making a tornado warning sign. I can't wait until they are finished.
